About Compassity
Compassity was conceived in October 2014 while planning a holiday trip. We built the site over a period of 2 years to become the go-to place for people planning their holidays. Whether is for 1 day or a month, Compassity aims to help you by allowing your friends and family to give you suggestions on the best places to visit.
Compassity has access to a database of millions of places across the world. We are always adding new cities based on demand while maintaining a top quality ranking of the places we know you will love.
Founders
Danny Herran
CEO & Co-Founder
Danny is a Software Engineer and entrepreneur who has been coding since the age of 10. By his 20s he had already founded a web agency serving clients in South America and the United States. He has worked in different engineering positions in multiple agencies, serving as the architect for brands such as Pepsi and IDA Ireland. He also has a keen eye for design and UX. His speciality is the LAMP stack, technologies he used to build Compassity, which he also coded from the ground up.
Lady Jerez
CMO & Co-Founder
Lady is the source of ideas in Compassity. She has a vast background in Online Marketing applied to a different array of clients, from NGOs to large organisations. Before Compassity, Lady held an important marketing position in SOS Children Villages, overseeing all its marketing campaings in Venezuela. Lady is also a certified yoga teacher who absolutely loves spending time outdoors.
